Psalms 10

¹ יְהוָהJehovah לָ מָהWhy תַּעֲמֹדdost_Thou_stand בְּat רָחוֹקa_distance תַּעְלִיםThou_dost_hide לְin עִתּוֹתtimes בַּצָּרָהadversity

² בְּThrough גַאֲוַתpride_of רָשָׁעwicked יִדְלַקIs_inflamed עָנִיpoor יִתָּפְשׂוּThey_are_caught בִּin מְזִמּוֹתdevices זוּthat חָשָׁבוּthey_devised

³ כִּיBecause הִלֵּלhath_boasted רָשָׁעwicked עַלOf תַּאֲוַתdesire_of נַפְשׁsoul וֹhis וּAnd בֹצֵעַa_dishonest_gainer בֵּרֵךְhe_hath_blessed נִאֵץHe_hath_despised יְהוָהJehovah

⁴ רָשָׁעwicked כְּaccording_to גֹבַהּheight_of אַפּface וֹhis בַּלnot יִדְרֹשׁinquireth אֵיןnot אֱלֹהִיםGod כָּלall מְזִמּוֹתָיdevices וhis

⁵ יָחִילוּPain_do דְרָכָיways וhis בְּat כָלall עֵתtimes מָרוֹםhigh מִשְׁפָּטֶיjudgments ךָThy מִ נֶּגְדּbefore וֹhim כָּלAll צוֹרְרָיadversaries וhis יָפִיחַhe_puffeth בָּat הֶםthem

⁶ אָמַרHe_hath_said בְּin לִבּheart וֹhis בַּלnot אֶמּוֹטI_am_moved לְTo דֹרgeneration וָand דֹרgeneration אֲשֶׁר לֹאnot בְin רָעevil

⁷ אָלָהoaths מִרְמוֹתdeceits וָand תֹךְfraud פִּיmouth הוּhis מָלֵאis_full וּAnd תַּחַתUnder לְשׁוֹנtongue וֹhis עָמָלperverseness וָand אָוֶןiniquity

⁸ יֵשֵׁבHe_doth_sit בְּin מַאְרַבan_ambush_of חֲצֵרִיםvillages בַּIn מִּסְתָּרִיםsecret_places יַהֲרֹגhe_doth_slay נָקִיinnocent עֵינָיeyes וHis לְfor חֵלְכָהafflicted יִצְפֹּנוּwatch_secretly

⁹ יֶאֱרֹבHe_lieth_in_wait בַּin מִּסְתָּרa_secret_place כְּas אַרְיֵהa_lion בְin סֻכֹּa_covert ה יֶאֱרֹבHe_lieth_in_wait לַto חֲטוֹףcatch עָנִיpoor יַחְטֹףHe_catcheth עָנִיpoor בְּ מָשְׁכdrawing וֹhim בְinto רִשְׁתּnet וֹhis

¹⁰ יִדְכֶּהHe_is_bruised יָשֹׁחַhe_boweth_down וְ נָפַלFallen_hath בַּby עֲצוּמָיmighty_ones וhis חֵיל כָּאִיםafflicted

¹¹ אָמַרHe_said בְּin לִבּheart וֹhis שָׁכַחhath_forgotten אֵלGod הִסְתִּירHe_hath_hid פָּנָיface וHis בַּלnever רָאָהHe_hath_seen לָ נֶצַח

¹² קוּמָArise ה יְהוָהJehovah אֵלGod נְשָׂאlift_up יָדֶhand ךָThy אַלnot תִּשְׁכַּחForget עֲנָוִיםhumble

¹³ עַל מֶהWherefore נִאֵץhath_despised רָשָׁעwicked אֱלֹהִיםGod אָמַרHe_hath_said בְּin לִבּheart וֹhis לֹאnot תִּדְרֹשׁIt_is_required

¹⁴ רָאִתָהThou_hast_seen כִּיFor אַתָּהThou עָמָלperverseness וָand כַעַסanger תַּבִּיטbeholdest לָBy תֵתgiving בְּinto יָדֶhand ךָThy עָלֶיOn ךָThee יַעֲזֹבdoth_leave חֵלֶכָהafflicted יָתוֹםfatherless אַתָּהThou הָיִיתָhast_been עוֹזֵרan_helper

¹⁵ שְׁבֹרBreak זְרוֹעַarm_of רָשָׁעwicked וָand רָעevil תִּדְרוֹשׁSeek_out רִשְׁעwickedness וֹhis בַלnone תִּמְצָאfind

¹⁶ יְהוָהJehovah מֶלֶךְking עוֹלָםto_the_age וָand עֶדfor_ever אָבְדוּhave_perished גוֹיִםnations מֵout_of אַרְצland וֹHis

¹⁷ תַּאֲוַתdesire_of עֲנָוִיםhumble שָׁמַעְתָּThou_hast_heard יְהוָהJehovah תָּכִיןThou_preparest לִבָּheart םtheir תַּקְשִׁיבThou_causest_to_attend אָזְנֶear ךָThine

¹⁸ לִTo שְׁפֹּטjudge יָתוֹםfatherless וָand דָךְbruised בַּלno יוֹסִיףHe_addeth עוֹדmore לַto עֲרֹץoppress אֱנוֹשׁman מִןof הָthe אָרֶץearth
